Ok, as I invite those of you who have shown an interest to continue viewing our blog, I thought I'd post a brief explanation.
We were contacted via regular mail, by Kasia & Bartek's aunt. She found our address via the internet, so we decided to but restrictions on who can view our blog. As harmless as her contacting us and inviting us to stay at her house with the kids when we pick them up may seem, we don't need the kids to have any feelings of guilt about leaving relatives behind. We'll keep in touch with their aunt & grandfather but through the correct channels.
We received our return dates on Friday, and now know that we'll be leaving on 7/30...arrive in Warsaw on 7/31...pick up the kids on 8/1...and stay until 8/14! They will be in our arms in less than 2 weeks! We are blessed!

Thank you for the invitation. So glad you got your dates to return and so soon. Our court date is tomorrow and then we will hang out up north for the next two weeks waiting to get our papers. Looks like we will get our Polish passport in Slupsk around 8/5ish. We were told that is indeed faster at this point.
My son was looking at the pictures on your blog and asked if we were ever going to get to meet your kids. He said they looked very nice:)
Happy travels, hope your kids enjoy their trip as well. It will help them pass the time until you are there better.
Although I would be very protectivea s well, it is good that you will have some contact and information. We are struggling, because we have no info, pictures, etc. Right now it doesn't seem to be an issue, but we know it will be at some point in the future.

In a way what you're going through is what we're experiencing now from the foster family. While it's not biological, it may as well be since the kids spent two years of their lives with this family and pretty much consider them "parents."
I'm thrilled to hear you got your dates and will be leaving in ten days! I'm also jealous you get to spend summer in Poland. That has to be nicer than our freezing January visit.

Great - you will be there in just over a week! Looks like we will just miss you. I think we will be in Warsaw on about August 21. So many traveling families right now though - yay! You will have them home in their great colorful rooms (love the tinkerbell idea) very soon. :)
