Hi, my name is Debbie. My husband Jeff and I have been married 18 (married June 1990) years without being able to have a biological child. So we've recently started the journey of international adoption. We've chosen to adopt from Poland because of the cultural ties my husband has to that country. We're hoping to adopt a brother & sister sibling group between the ages of 5 - 11 years. We're very excited about this journey we've embarked on.
We've recently completed our homestudy, have sent our application off to USCIS and have applied for our passports.
Once we receive and accept a referral we'll take our first trip to Poland to meet and spend time with our children. We'll also go before the Polish courts to proclaim our intent to adopt. Then we'll come home for several weeks while their visa's are processed. Our our second trip will be to pickup and bring our children home.
We'd like to also thank our friends and family who've helped us tremendeously thus far with their financial gifts, good wishes and prayers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
